Domaine de la Janasse cultivates its vines across a mosaic of plots with diverse terroirs, including rolled pebbles, clay-limestone, and sandy soils. This variety allows for a complex expression of each grape variety. Furthermore, the vineyard is managed using an organic approach, prioritizing environmental respect and natural soil balance without the use of pesticides or herbicides.
Traditional winemaking and precision ageing
We practice winemaking as a precise art, treating each plot individually. We combine partial destemming, gentle manual punching down, and long macerations to ensure the optimal extraction of aromas and tannins.
